  • Wahoo Bike Trainer

  • A KICKR® Power Trainer or KICKR® SNAP Bike Trainer is required.

  • Compatible Bike

  • Please refer here to check if your bike is compatible with the KICKR® Power Trainer. To check compatibility with the KICKR® SNAP, please visit here, then go to SPECS tab on the website. You can also contact your local bike shop.

  • Kinetic Turntable Riser Ring or Other Non-Friction Surface

  • We recommend placing a Kinetic Turntable Riser Ring or other non-friction surface under the front tire to allow the handlebars to rotate freely for steering.

  • Android Phone

  • The phone needs to have Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy and a gyroscope.

  • Phone Mount for Your Bike

  • We recommend mounting your phone on your handlebars to allow for easy access while using the system, as well as to use the phone gyroscope for steering.

  • Gaming PC

  • Since VR Bike is a fully-fledged 3D game, a moderately powerful PC is required to run the game.

  • (Optional) A Bluetooth Low-Energy(LE) Heart Rate Monitor

  • We recommend Polar heart rate monitors, as they are what we have tested with the VR Bike system. However, we believe other heart rate monitors that use the Bluetooth LE protocol would work as well.

  • (Optional) A Bluetooth Low-Energy(LE) Cadence Sensor

  • The system can optionally connect to a cadence sensor (such as a Wahoo BlueSC or Wahoo RPM). However, currently the data will be only be displayed on the phone app..
